Our Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is harvested sustainably by an artisan farming family in Ecuador. Distillation of dry wood through pure steam yields an essential oil with an intense sweet, woody, citrus nose, with the following active ingredients:

- d-Limonene 89.33%

- a-Terpineol 10.9%

- Menthofuran 6.6%

- Carvone 2.0%

- Germacrene D 1.7%

- y-Muurolene 1.2%

- trans-Carveol 1.1%

- Pulegone 1.1%

Inhalable Palo Santo is cardioprotective, hepatoprotective, anti-fibrotic, gastroprotective and immune modulatory.

Limonene (d-Limonene) has been widely shown as an inhalable to provide anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral and gastroprotective effects. Studies also show positive outcomes for d-limonene as a non-drowsy pain inhibitor (antinociceptive), and as reducing hyperalgesia (extreme sensitivity to pain). The Palo Santo used for Daily Dose Inhalables is processed ecologically and sustainably, only from trees in the Bursera Graveolens forest that died naturally, with an active reforestation plan and in harmony with traditional ethnobotanical practices.
